Forever and Ever Amen

Now in this journey in my new life I have found that there are strengths I never knew I had, determination to strive for the best, and to really look at myself and what I need. I am not saying that this is a cake walk, but when you find that you can do things that for years you have been told you could never do it is the best feeling ever!
I love my children and all that they have shown me during this rough time, and above all they have shown unconditional love. They are resilient, honest, and sweet caring children, they have grown closer to each other, and our relationship as a family is stronger than ever. And it is from my children that I have started to take my needs and concerns and work with them.
As a mother you are often willing to go to the ends of the earth for your children, but when it comes to taking care of your needs they often go to the bottom of the list. This is insane! I mean really why can't one be a mommy and still take the time to recharge ? I want to be an amazing mother, provider, and support for my children but the only way I can do this is if I take time for me.
